Join us to find out what happened when a small joke about "The Joy of Painting" instructional TV show became a rallying cry for students. Their teacher harnessed the energy of the class to become Bob Ross during lessons, instructional videos, exams, and daily interactions. Experience some of these course artifacts and learn how we don’t make mistakes, we just have happy accidents.
Matt Yauk is a recovering K-12 educator, web/graphic/instructional designer, and perpetual student interested the disruptive power of educational technology and passionate teaching. He currently leads a team in OSU’s College of Education and Human Ecology that makes learning spaces, multimedia, and courses more effective and engaging for all. He also teaches two educational technology courses for current and future educators.
