USING CARMENCANVAS EFFECTIVELY TO IMPROVE THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Join us on Tuesday, September 24 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Pomerene 320 for the Innovate Fall Showcase (previously known as Faculty Showcase). We've teamed up with Undergraduate Student Government (USG) to hear from Ohio State educators regarding best practices for using CarmenCanvas to improve the student experience. Educators and students will discuss new ways to use Carmen, simple steps to implement in your course and showcase examples of effective Carmen use.

  • Todd Borgerson, Adler Pierce and Sri Uppalapati of University Student Government
  • Mark Moritz, Associate Professor and Mark Anthony Arceño, Graduate Teaching Associate of the Department of Anthropology
  • Oihane Muxika-Loitzate, Graduate Teaching Associate, Department of Spanish and Portuguese
  • Laura Deeter, Professor, Horticulture, Ohio State ATI and Canvas Educator of the Year
The fall showcase is an annual event hosted by the Innovate conference as an interactive opportunity for instructors to learn how others are incorporating technology in their classrooms. At the end of the event, you will have an opportunity to network with presenters and other colleagues. There will also be a prize drawing and an exciting announcement about the upcoming Innovate conference, which is Thursday, May 14, 2020. Light refreshments will be provided.

Registration is open (and limited)! If you don't have an Ohio State email, RSVP to innovateu@osu.edu to register. Room 320, Pomerene Hall 1760 Neil Ave, Columbus, OH 43210
