Community Stories

Teaching and Learning Community Stories

This year, Innovate is featuring community stories that showcase how  teaching or learning practices have transformed over the last year.

How Are You Teaching?
Innovate Edition

In partnership with the Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning we invite all educators to share the story of how you have transformed your teaching over the past year and what you have learned along the way. We're looking for forward-thinking solutions, concrete teaching tips, innovative technology use, and recommended strategies for supporting, engaging and connecting with students.

How Are You Learning?
Innovate Edition

We also invite all students to share how the student experience has transformed over the past year, and what you have learned along the way. We’re looking for unique stories and outlooks, meaningful reflections, and concrete advice for your instructors or peers.

Accepted submissions will be featured as part of the virtual Innovate conference on May 5, but all submissions may also be shared on the Drake Institute’s website or in other communications if you consent. Preference will be given to submissions that align well with the conference theme (transformed), include media assets and describe innovative use of teaching strategies or technology.

The submission period has CLOSED.

Note: Your submission may be edited for length, style and tone.
