It’s no secret that innovation involves risk. Experimenting with new ideas, tools and techniques requires an open mind and space for failure. But how are we using the results? The value of experimentation lies in discovering which new methods can foster excellence. Findings from past experiments allow educators to innovate without sacrificing quality. With these findings, we can make courses more accessible, stretch research budgets, and connect scholarship to communities. That’s what we’re looking to share at Innovate 2016: the innovations that support excellence in teaching, learning and research.
