Now Requesting Proposals for Innovate 2020 Presenters!

Does your teaching style make students excited about learning?

Do your assignments encourage students to explore beyond the classroom? Are you a student who has experienced an exciting or meaningful experience in class? If any of these apply to you, why not share your stories with educators at Ohio State and beyond!

The Office of Distance Education and eLearning is requesting proposals for presenters for the 2020 Innovate conference! If you are employing a unique idea in the classroom, or if you are a student whose learning has been enhanced by such a unique idea, apply now to share your story at the conference. Better yet, apply as an instructor-student duo.

At Innovate 2020, the theme is transform.

We'll explore how we transform the landscape of 21st century education to ensure excellence in teaching and learning, improve the student experience and make an impact on the world beyond the classroom. From individual teaching practice to interdisciplinary collabrations and institution-wide initiatives, we'll hear from educators who are thinking outside the box to evolve their instruction through innovative teaching methods and tools. More information on the Transform theme can be found on the Innovate Program page.

We encourage you to break the traditional lecture mold and present in an inclusive and engaging way that fits your content. Preference will be  given to proposals that include multiple presenters (particularly  to those with one or more  teaching staff or students) and to cross-disciplinary sessions.
