Michael Shiflet joined the Office of Distance and Education at The Ohio State University after nearly a decade in the K-12 education market helping transition traditional print programs to digital offerings. In his role as Digital Publishing Coordinator on the Affordability and Access team, he helps faculty create their own electronic textbooks and digital instructional materials.
Ashley Miller is Associate Director for Affordability and Access in Ohio State’s Office of Distance Education and eLearning. She manages the Affordable Learning Exchange, which works with partners across the university to support faculty who wish to move away from conventional course materials in favor of low-cost and Open Educational Resources. She is passionate about transforming classroom learning experiences and helping to make higher education more affordable for students at Ohio State and beyond.
